yeah it takes time to see the documents from being "uploaded" to "reviewing". I think it will occur around the same time when background check is in process. Our application started processing at VO Aug 22. Still haven't received any updates. -_-

yes I agree! How many days/weeks did you ask the TRV for? If you don't mind sharing. It's such a complicated situation. Did you provide any extra documentation to support the reason for getting TRV?

it took about 3 weeks to get medical request for my husband, but we got the medical request from Mississauga, Canada processing centre. Not from Sydney visa office.

if the application is only for you then no it wouldn't affect the application process. I applied for my husband June 22/17, currently it is in process at Sydney visa office.

Hi yes my husband (PA) never received any email from them. But in our case, they had misspelled his email ID. We found that out when we got his medical request. So check if that's the issue.
