I applied on 20th May but no updates..

Do we get an email if there is an update on our eligibility/medical etc. or do we need to constantly monitor the application page and assess on what date we get the updates ourselves?

Similar case.. no Jan/May intake for me either. I've applied on 20th May so hopefully should be getting some kind of updates soon.

I don't think there's many early May applicants here.. alot of the people have applied towards the end & should hopefully get updates in the coming days, maybe around start of August.

I applied from Mumbai as well.. similar timeline, applied on 20th May. I'm guessing it is an issue with VFS Mumbai because I have seen many applicants (myself included) have the same issue of status changing to "submitted" almost a month after submitting the application.

Hi, I've had a similar experience myself. Submitted my biometrics on 24th May but the status changed to "submitted" on 20th June. There's two things, either there's a huge delay at VFS Mumbai because of which it is taking them a month to send the application to IRCC itself. Or maybe it's just a...

They won't push down the applications depending on the intake. They will process all applications in the order that they are submitted.

It says on the IRCC website as well that they'll update the status of medical & biometrics when the process the applications. So I guess it's not a point of concern.. just have to wait.

Yes. Agreed! I've applied from Mumbai & VFS itself delayed the file submissions to IRCC..

Did you get an update on your medical? If so when did you apply?

I read in an article that your medical, biometrics, background etc. everything will be updated once they start working on your file. So there's nothing to be worried about. If it gets delayed beyond the 12-14week timeline (I hope it won't) then you should contact IRCC & ask for an update.
