I had an upfront Medical in March so I'm hoping I won't have to face the medical delay atleast. It shows "You do not need a medical at this point" in my account.. or is it the same message for everyone?

Submitted the application on 20th May, Biometrics done & updated on 24th May. Status changed to submitted around 20th June

I read online that the processing times given are for after the VAC submits your application to IRCC. In my case however, it took around 30 days to get the status change from "Your action is required" to "Submitted" so does that mean I will have to face a much longer delay compared to other...

They've actually said in an interview that this will be the trend for a year now & they will only be able to get back to the normal processing times in 2023. Definitely not what we wanted to hear right now..

Seeing that a lot of students from Pakistan are getting their SP approved within the SDS time frame I'm getting a feeling that this current delay is a country specific issue & doesn't have much to do with IRCC itself.. Congratulations to everyone who got their visas & best of luck!

Same here.. in my case it's been 30 days. The only update I had was a status change from "Your action is required" to "Submitted" which probably means that there'll be an additional delay for me..

That's good! You should be getting updates soon. Where did you apply from?

I had the same status change around 20th June.. seeing that we have similar application dates I think they'll start processing our applications now. Might have to wait for some time for an update.

Applied on 20th May with upfront medical & Biometrics updated on 24th May for Fall 22 (SDS). No updates as of yet.. Good to see students from Pakistan getting their visas approved quickly. Hopefully, the same trend starts for Indian students as well.

Medical was submitted to IRCC on 10th March.. atleast that is what it says on the report. Although it has not been updated in my application yet.. it shows "You dont need a medical examination. We will inform you if this changes"
