    FBI Certificate - Validity

Hi All, I lived in the US from 1st Apr, 2014 till 4th Sep, 2017. I got my Police certificate (FBI Certificate) in May 2016. I have been able to bump up my score by repeating IELTS (CRS - 476) and hope to receive the ITA in one of the next few draws. Can I still use the FBI certificate...

CLB 9 and Above; Skill Transferability (Education and Foreign Experience)

Really got to. One more thing that I am worried now is my residential status. At the time of creating the profile, I had entered my country of residence as US (that was 10 months back). And recently, I moved to India. But the system doesn't allow you to change that now I guess (correct me if I...

CLB 9 and Above; Skill Transferability (Education and Foreign Experience)

Just fixed it man. Waiting for the score to update. I was a 421 all throughout, but have been on 396 for a silly miss. Turning 32 in Mar'18, the score is going to dip by a 5 :D :D Anyway, thanks for your patience bud. The Job Bank is not mandatory anymore, right? Just checking!

Incorrect score for the Foreign work experience- Skill transferability

O gayatri80, you are a godsend. My profile has been lying for 10 months in the system with Hours per Week as 8. And I am wondering why my Skill Transferability with Foreign Experience is only 25!!!!!! Just updated it to 40 and hope it will be jump up by 25 points. DOUBLE TRIPLE QUADRUPLE LIKE...

    Skill Transferability Points Incorrect

@abbeycrombie, I am looking for posts from prior years as I feel I am in a similar situation. Was your case resolved? In my case, I have a CLB of 9 on all abilities (L, R, S, W - 8, 7, 7, 7 on IELTS). I have 3.5 Years of Foreign Experience (US) in NOC 0. I should have got a 50 for Skill...

CLB 9 and Above; Skill Transferability (Education and Foreign Experience)

3.5 Years of Experience. Precise dates: Apr 1, 2014 to Sep 4, 2017 My bad Ajith while writing here. I have correctly entered on the system. Just double checked!

CLB 9 and Above; Skill Transferability (Education and Foreign Experience)

Yes Ajith. It is continuous with no gaps. Apr 1, 2014 to Sep 4, 2018. I moved back to India just recently. I have 396 Points now. That 25 should take me to 421 and increase the ITA likelihood. With 396, I don't stand a chance. And hence the concern. What do you suggest?

CLB 9 and Above; Skill Transferability (Education and Foreign Experience)

It may be true but it doesn't state anything like that http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp It talks only about the Foreign Work Experience + a criteria of CLB 9 or more. There is a separate section for Education Foreign work experience – With good official language...

CLB 9 and Above; Skill Transferability (Education and Foreign Experience)

Is that true? Although my points stand at 396, it still shows me as eligible. If 7.5 on Writing was mandatory, I may not have been eligible. Right?

CLB 9 and Above; Skill Transferability (Education and Foreign Experience)

I don't have a Masters Degree. I won't get 50 points under the Skill Transferability - Education, but should I not be getting the 50 for the 3+ years of Foreign Experience?

CLB 9 and Above; Skill Transferability (Education and Foreign Experience)

Thanks a lot Del Piero. This clears the IELTS to CLB conversion doubts. Any answers for this: I have 3.5 Years experience in the US - with CLB being 9 on all abilities (L, R, W, S: 8, 7, 7, 7), I should have got 50 points for Skill Transferability on Foreign Experience. Any reason why I have...
