FBI Certificate - Validity

Hi All,

I lived in the US from 1st Apr, 2014 till 4th Sep, 2017. I got my Police certificate (FBI Certificate) in May 2016.

I have been able to bump up my score by repeating IELTS (CRS - 476) and hope to receive the ITA in one of the next few draws. Can I still use the FBI certificate received in May 2016 as part of the documentation for ITA, or should I create a new one?

No. You need a new one.

If you are no longer currently living in the US, the certificate must have been issued anytime after the last day you were present in the US.

Thanks. And do I need this for a 4 Year old (it doesn't make sense, but just confirming)?

No, only 18 years and older.
