Yes I did order the notes and also got them. All it mentions is that the medical is in progress, but I know that the medical is expired already and have not yet gotten a remed request, also security and everything else has not even started on my husband's file yet

You always have the option of going back and being with them if circumstances require. I am sure most jobs allow you to take emergency leaves in situations like these and if not, quit your job, and assist your parents if they need you. Parents should come first in circumstances like these...
