Sign in in cic account and fill out questionnaire and select extend work permit, make sure you pay both fees, for open work permit and work permit fee

I got mine approved like in 2 months, you can check my posts, i have complete timeline in post for BOWP, In my i sent AOR and Supporting letter but they still took over a month to give me first notification

You can apply online, attach pnp certificate and aor from cic and pay open work permit, you can look into my post , Mine just got approved this week.

We have same timeline submitted in oct and they started processing in next week of jan, they asked me original PCC from home country , which I submitted in mid of feb, but I called them couple days ago and they said they haven't did any update after requesting documents Did u do upfront medical.

My BOWP application show on Hold now, i called CIC to check, and they said bowp application will be on hold, until my pr application pass some stage. I just sent them 204 supporting letter from province, lets see if that help. As today my current work permit expire.

You can do a upfront medical if you are inland applicant, just go to Panel Physician and tell them you need upfront medical done. Make sure you book a appointment, rest they will guide you.
