hmm, well it's just a matter of different experience with TRV. I was told by CIC that one cannot apply for TRV while a spousal application is in process, on the other hand, you have met people who received a TRV while their spousal application is in process. Both correct????????

GMCS notes tell you where your file is, what they have completed on your file (background checks etc), if you are recommend for a interview etc etc and they take 30 days to get to you once you apply for them. Since your file was just forwarded to the visa office you should not apply for GMCS...

You should be getting a request to submit your passport soon here but you are going to be waiting 7-8 months before hearing anything else or getting any updates from them. I applied in July 2013, my passport was requested in September 2013, and I still have "application received" and "medicals...

When did you apply? And when was your file transferred to New Delhi?

Mine has been "app received and med's received" since July 11, 2013. I did MP inquiry last week, he said the file has not been touched yet :(

Yeah, it says "we received blah blah . . . . . . July 11, 2013", but my MP told me "you are August applicant", that's why I was a bit confused ::)
