Just received a call from my MP and he said that my application has not even been touched yet I guess they are working on getting the January - May applications finished.

hey gagi its too early for u they just starting june applicants ...they still on jan-feb........don't be sad we have all waited.... another 1-2 months max u shld be hearing some news.....apply for notes in feb to see whats the status with your file ....good luck dear

Yeah, it says "we received blah blah . . . . . . July 11, 2013", but my MP told me "you are August applicant", that's why I was a bit confused :

the thing is that they said im a june applicant when im april....they consider the file when it gets transferred to ndvo that's the month ...so don't worry u are a july applicant

It's like I should have to do medical early for early visa...

I guess they have sorted application by medical expire...

Kejal you never know about this and NDVO is unpredictable. We cant tell by that...i did medical early before the application and i should have done medical a month before the application but didnt expect all of sudden when the strike happened. So stupid! That sucks. You are lucky that you are in ip and you will get dm soon before medical expires. God bless you kejal!

I have done my medical on March 13, 2013. They didnt specify any validity date for medicals in my GCMS. I think they might extend one or two weeks if needed.

They dont extend the date of medicals , when they see that date of medicals is coming closer they usually give a call to the applicant to confirm if you can fly before medical expiry date...
