Hello all,
my application PR under spouse category was submitted on June18. i got a PPR request in august and then nothing till now like all application in June My question is regarding Medical. I havnt done my medicals yet.

is there anyone here who still havnt done medicals yet? i have already submitted the passport. Can i do my medicals without it ?

please advise.

you probably have to wait until you get a letter from NDVO asking for medicals..with that you can show it your designated medical practitioner and that way the process goes smoother rather doing without your passport, explaining to the medical staff and then they give you run around etc...

I am August 2013 applicant. Just waiting for my passport with shiny visa. Can you please tell me the timeline ?

I'm a July 2013 applicant, and still waiting to hear from NDVO. Sent my passport in September. I would say you have at least 2 more months to go before any news

Well you need a copy of your passport or voter's ID if you are in INDIA. but pretty sure you need some ID from the government to get your Medical done.

Hello Mr John, first of all Welcome to the forum.
The question which you asked here, it sounds you want to drive the car without the engine??? Dont be mad...
I think everyone has done the medical and they have submitted along with their applications.

they have invented a car without steering wheel..next step is without engine..then like star trek movies move from one place to another without any vehicle....why not? NDVO process applications without any sense....it is like driving without an engine....

Usually everyone receive this passport request with no timeline frame......should send passport ASAP....

"Please note that a request for your passport(s) at this time is not a guarantee of visa issuance. Passports are requested so that we can hold them on your file and issue your visas as soon as possible after all requirements have been met."

it should be "we are morons and we request your passport early in the process so that we can torture you...if you need your passport right now, your application goes to the bottom of the file and disappears..thank you and good luck"

Well in other words "Here in NDVO we don't work that often and we are also very lazy to tell you to send in your medical or other documents. Best advice for you will be to send all the information and even your medical. And don't worry when the time will come to issue the visa you need to re-do the medical again. Don't ask us why as our job is to just update the information on the web site and we don't even check it at the interview if your medical or PCC is expired. We love to torture you guys as we don't have a life as well in short enjoy our torture and don't contact us by phone, email, and fax. We will not communicate with you and we will not co-operate with you have a super sucky day"

It was so funny when the officer asked my wife about her medical. She said when did you did your medical, what is the expiry time. My wife replied with the date and said she don't no when it is expiring. The officer replied well I don't no either as I did not check for it and that the application should have the information in handy. Then she said she will check and reply to her. What a waste of time why should we keep a record of the expiry I mean it will be of no good they are the decision making. Even if it is expired we cannot do anything without the letter and the passport.

you get chocolates anywhere ..it is the laddu and jamuns that are exotic for you and customs officials in canada...if they ask too many questions about the jewelry that are in the carry on luggage, offer them some sticky sesame sweets for them to chew and they won't ask questions

as an ND visa officer you expect me to type all these words in our notice? it is too much of work...
