Thank you for your reply, DelPiero07. I passed the 6 months mark end of April. My lawyer doesn't believe in ordering GCMS notes. He doesn't supply us with updates and only sent a CSE last week upon our request. Is there anything else we can do as applicants that would not offend anyone?

Hi Legal falcon, Do the call centre agents make a note on my file of every time I phone to get an update on our status? Will it reflect on the GCMS notes? We are using a lawyer and do not have ANY access to our CIC account and lawyer doesn't give feedback. We passed 6 months end of April.

My AOR is 31 October 2016 which means (according to me) that we passed our 6 months processing time on Monday 1 may 2017. But, just spoke to my immigration lawyer which informed me that due to the extra document request in January, we lost 2 weeks which means our 6 months are only done on 15...

Something weird is going on. They also told me on Tuesday that my application was finalized and everything looks great but I should phone them again at the end of summer :o >:( :o What is going on here???? Quotas reached???

Are you Inland or Outland? Under which stream?

If you are inside Canada, phone them on 1-888-242-2100. Be prepared to try a couple of times in a 10 minute timespan to be transferred to an agent. The best time is early mornings or just before their closing time.

Have you phoned CIC and spoke to an agent or maybe ordered your GCMS notes? You do get a lot more information on your application status if you phone CIC directly than only checking your CIC account online.

We are FST inland, AOR 31 October 2016 and also still waiting. Called CIC today and the agent said our application is "In Progress" and looks really good. All our background checks has been finalized as well. There is NOTHING outstanding. BUT, as we are Federal Skilled Trades, there are...

Hi everyone! Great forum. Would like to ask if anybody know the PR processing timeline for Federal Skilled Trades (FST) stream? We applied on 31 October 2016 and according to an agent I spoke to a few minutes ago, there are no timeline connected to this stream and we can phone back end of summer...
