I am almost in the same boat as you. Just phoned CIC and spoke to a really nice agent. He confirmed that both our medicals, criminality and security has passed but he mentioned our eligibility has not passed yet and they are still working on our file. What does this mean? I thought eligibility...

Update on my side: Phoned CIC today. Medicals - PASSED, Criminality - PASSED, Security - PASSED, Eligibility - Not passed, still working on file... Can this be right? Thought the eligibility need to pass before security begins.

We sent a CSE after 6 and a half months but still no reply. Tomorrow is 30 days from enquiry date.

Hi RabinJi, no news on my side. Sent a CSE on 16 May and requested notes 25 May. I do not have any direct access to follow updates on MyCIC account (we used a lawyer representative)... Can only wait now until end of June for the responses. The waiting is killing us. Holding thumbs for all of us...

I don't know what their plans are regarding medical redo's at the moment. Mine still shows "Passed" and it already expired on 5 May 2017. I have seen other people's medicals were extended without any redo. But that said, CIC can ask for redo if they are worried about a medical condition...

Hi RabinJi, I am now also starting to wonder about the trustworthiness of the information supplied by some agents. An agent told me on 25 April that all our background checks are completed and everything looks good. She said nothing is outstanding and we should phone back end of summer :(...

We paid RPRF on 25 January 2017 (also same day they requested it) and we are still waiting... Don't know if using the RPRF payment date as reference will be of any help in predicting your timeline. Some are lucky, others need more patience in this stressful situation. Just keep the faith and...

Have you tried phoning CIC directly to speak to an agent? Some applicants have been very lucky where agents were very helpful and shared a lot of information with them, some say as much as a CSE enquiry response.

Hi RabinJi, I do not have any info on my status changes. My lawyer doesn't share any information regarding status updates or changes. They haven't requested GCMS notes either...
