No you cannot the toll free number of CPC can be dialled from within canada. I Received my PR Card today i.e 19th of November 2009, it was posted on monday and i received on thursday.

F Y I I called CPC today and they informed me that my PR Card has been mailed at my address on 16th of November. That is exactly 30 days after i landed (i.e OCT 18 2009). I think it should reach my place at start of next week.

I called the CIC Call centre and they said that the current processing times are 36 days and this does not include mailing period. As per the call centre agent the total time is around 45 to 50 days. Can i collect the PR Card from CIC sydney ????
