How much fund is needed to sponsor a wife

I am PR and I recently got married. How much fund should I need to show to sponsor my wife? If so, what proof should I provide?

whats option c print out? is it any form or is it in PR kit?

Option C print out is something that Revenue Canada can mail out to you in 10 business days if you have filed your tax returns for this year. Just give them a call and request one!

if u filed ur taxes yet then wait to file taxes then send them option c

If you filed taxes in Canada for 2009 then you can obtain an Option C printout from Revenue Canada at the number provided by the previous poster. If you did not file taxes last year, write a letter explaining that for your application. There is an alternative to the option C. I can't remember exactly, but I think it is to provide a year's worth of pay stubs from your employer.

if you don't have option c printout, just write your explanation on a separate piece of paper. same as a person who live exclusively outside canada

I didn't find anything regarding Option C print out anywhere in PR check list or document. Still I need to send it?
