    AS I said in the February thread... Parents/grandparents and spouses are two completely different processes. With two different processing times. Ours is 20-30 days for the first step. Theirs is 9 or 10 months. This article says NOTHING about spouses. It's ridiculous to freak people out...

    This won't affect spousal visa. Much different than parents. If you look at the parent processing times currently that are already waiting 10 months for the first part which takes us approximately 20 days. Read before you freak yourself out.

    Oh yea, ours was sent Jan 28 and received feb 1st :) Once I heard the Manila 2 month story I had to check Cic processing times. It said 9 months! Maybe there's hope for buffalo afterall since ours says 11 months! :D

    I do remember specifically seeing an instruction somewhere that said "paper clips will do" but I don't remember which section it was on. We didn't use any though. What we did was send the sponsor application in one folder and the PR section in another folder with everything in the order it...

    I just read it says name birthdate and date taken on the back of ONLY one. Then placed in white envelope with name on it. Whoops. Mine is still in that walmart folder with only date taken stamped on back of all of them :(
