When we call Cic. Is an agent able to tell us how far the process is? I mean can I ask him certain specific questions with regards to the application like, if criminality is completed or if they started the background check and how far is it?

My husband’s file is still in sydney. Hasn’t moved to LVO or Mississauga. His biometric and medical was done by july 15. what does that mean how much longer wait we should be expecting?

Dis they send you email about the transfer? I believe they take about 3months or lesser to process the files. What is your timeline?

I have a lawyer working on husband’s case. I asked them to create a GC key and send me the details. They did and I’m able to look myself without removing lawyers access.

Does anyone know how can someone call cic from outside the Canada. What is the number and i read someone mentioned about the app to use for calling. TIA

Does anyone think like me: may be all the immigration officers are on summer vacation, so we should let them relax and come back happy so they process our cases faster. Just a thought!!!

No nothing after that. Since my husband couldn’t get early medical appointment so i asked my representative to send a webform for extension of time period for his medical. But I haven’t heard anything about file transfer so far.
