same thing happened to me , called and cic said application process has started but could not check my ecas. after 2 days or 3 i had success to see it on ecas i would think may be on saturday you ll be able to see your ecas, they update it tuesdays and saturdays according to some members here...

hello the ecas is simple just enter your information, when it comes to identification type choose for example client id it is on your PR card front page it does not matter if you enter it 0000-0000 or 00000000 as long as you enter it rights for the last name it is ok if you enter it like Smith...

Called cic today about not being able to check ecas She said that after they start processing the application the ecas usually is not activated right away She mentioned that it can take sometimes days or weeks
