    Do you have the Option C? They do not require it particularly for this year. You can add Option C for 2011 and 2012 + add the proof of income for 2013 such as pay stubs or T4.

    I would suggest to phone the call center or make case specific inquiry. It could be ecas error too. There are people on these forum who have their status as decision made but actually there's no decision have been made on their case.

    Only spouse or common-law partner of the sponsor may help to meet the income requirement by co-signing the sponsorship application.

    It's always recommended to meet the LICO till your sponsorship application is finalized. You never know if they are gonna ask for proof of meeting LICO or not again. It's totally up to discretion of the officer.

    Hi, has you sponsorship eligibility been approved with Mississauga already? In case it's needed they will ask for the income proof using the old LICO rules.

    Your tax consultant is completely right. Yes, you must file taxes from the year your bacame PR, even if you stayed just a few days in Canada.

    I would not trust on-line updates - sometimes it's just ecas error. Phone the call centre, they might be able to give you updated info.

    1. Only PR and citizen can sponsor their parents. 2. Yes, you are right - in this case you will have to show income for 3 in 2011, 4 in 2012 and 5 in 2013.
