I called IRCC now. The agent told me my application is approved and he congratulated me on my PR. My AOR is April 8th. Nothing happened apart from having my medicals passed on April 14th. I changed to IP2 on July 20th. Had a ghost update on 21st. The agent also told me it could take a month...

Question. I got to IP2 yesterday. I checked my application then and it said Application Profile updated and the Background check in progress change was new. Then on subsequent login's the status changed back to submitted when I am still in IP2. This morning, when I logged in it once again...

Are you now in IP2? I mean before your call to know about your approval? The gist is that, PPR emails are sent out in batches and it could be anytime soon for you. May be in the next week. Congratulations :)

Guys, I think I had a update today which says " We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information". This means I am in IP2 now, isn't it? I have been in IP1 since April 14th. Does this change also means, I have passed eligibility?

I am on IP1 since April 9th. For July 4th holiday, I had to take my parents to Niagara falls in the US side. I was standing there looking at the Canadian side hoping to be there soon. So near, yet too far :)

You mean after you get your PR and your wife searches for a job there? Yeah an experience letter or some form of proof is required when you claim work experience. Pay stubs. Employment letter. Appraisal letter. Promotion letter to name a few
