Hi there, this is my first post on this website. (YAY...) submitted my application in April, I'm really curious to know if I've been selected to go through comprehensive security screening (which takes quite long time). I wonder if it's possible to figure it out by calling CIC? I'm looking for a faster way to figure this out than ordering GCMS notes. TIA

About me and my timeline btw:
I'm Iranian, been in South Korea since the age of 18, have traveled to Iran every year, few countries in south-east Asia and Europe. I've been a university student until a few months ago.

Application Type: FSW-outland
AOR Date: April 10th 2018
RFPR paid: April 10th 2018
Medical Passed: April 19th 2018
IP1 (We will send you a msg when we start your background check …): April 19th 2018
IP2 (Your Background check is in progress …): June 20th 2018
Ghost Update: June 23rd 2018

I'm an applicant from Iran too. In my opinion if they ask for your resume, they will do security screening for your case. I'm not sure about it, just talking out of experience reading other Iranian applicants situations.

I called IRCC now. The agent told me my application is approved and he congratulated me on my PR.
My AOR is April 8th. Nothing happened apart from having my medicals passed on April 14th. I changed to IP2 on July 20th. Had a ghost update on 21st. The agent also told me it could take a month before I get my passport request

So whoever is stuck on IP1, it could only take a day for everything to change. One of my other buddy who's AOR is in early April also had his status change to IP2 on July 22nd. It is happening guys. Good luck to all

I got to talk to an agent yesterday, he mentioned that my eligibility has been cleared and BGC is in the process now after which criminality will be done. Does anyone have any idea what the time frame might be like? My dates are as follows:

Meds passed 7 May 2018
RPRF paid 23 May 2018

Any update on singles? Someone got their gcms notes and his VO is NDVO. According to his gcms notes, eligibility has not even started yet

NDVO agents are busy. india has the largest number of applicants. Plus there is extensive background checks being done in india because of fraudulent docs.

FSW Out_ PPR received on July 5th and sent the pictures and passport on July 10th and have been waiting for approval in CIC account CORP now

Anyone knows, how long does it take passport sent to CORP nowadays? (I know it depends on the VO), but on average how long does it take?
Also, just wondering whether I receive a email notification when the CIC status changes to approved?

I appreciate your support and hope everyone gets the PPRs soon.

I was wondering if there are any CEC applicants from the 11th April AOR who are still waiting for the PPR email? Did you guys call CIC or order GCMS notes? Any thoughts on what is going on so far?
