I got both together. I paid RPRF fees, uploaded the receipt to my application in myCIC, and then went ahead to submit my passport at VFS.

Nothing to worry - my BG was NA from Feb 28th to May 30th. On 31st May it went to IP, and June 1st I got the PPR. You should be getting BG IP in coming weeks, I am very certain. All the best. :)
