Well in my case I made a DD with Standard Chartered Bank but I do not have an account there, so I had to pay in cash. They put the money in a suspense account. I'll call them on the next working day to inquire if there's any way of knowing.

I have the same question... I don't think the banks would inform us when the DD is encashed.. any ideas on this?

I think they are just receiving now. I can't think of any other explanation. That brings me back to my previous question, if they are only receiving, why would they receive after caps are filled? That gives me some hope that maybe the caps arent filled. Wishful thinking.

Why is CIC still receiving applications if their caps are filled, which it most likely is? I don't get it.

Hello people, The CIC link for number of complete applications received does not show any number. What does that mean? They must not be updating this at all, although they say they would update it on weekly basis.

How long do you think it will be before the cap is filled? a month?
