Any hopes left for 400+ aspirants?

ok - use case... i am a bad guy... I create profile, add ielts score per will (all CLB10), and mark my ECA as PhD... also, i add that I have valid LMIA and 28 years, etc, which is not subject now (i am referring only to PAID services such as IELTS and ECA, although LMIA should also be validated...

Any hopes left for 400+ aspirants?

Well, I can agree and disagree with you at the same time... I am a software architect, and one of the most important things when creating SW applications is to prevent frauds - fake identity, fake information, or more serious - to prevent money transaction frauds... leaving the system opened for...

Any hopes left for 400+ aspirants?

trust me - it is enough if they link EE system with ECA and/or IELTS test results... by pulling in those two sets of information based on ECA ref number and/or IELTS test ID , and making them unique profile identifiers(or max 3 appearances, like they said is possible), minimizes the fraud...

Any hopes left for 400+ aspirants?

if nothing is validated, what prevents someone from creating EE profile with ECA-like number for ECA, and IELTS-test-like number for IELTS, as well as LMIA-like number for LMIA? ... i am thinking on consultants, which want to learn procedure, therefore they do not care about being rejected or...

Any hopes left for 400+ aspirants?

guys, do you think it is possible that all 779 people which have received ITA actually has valid LMIA? My understanding is that LMO is not LMIA, which makes LMOs invalid for the 600 points bonus... Also, I can see that all classes - FSW, FST and CEC do require LMIA which is for permanent...

Any hopes left for 400+ aspirants?

It is obvious that this draw was CEC only... It sounds perfectly logical from my perspective, since there is still huge backlog of FSW applicants under old stream, and they need to clear it out before they issue any FSW-based ITAs... i just hope it will happen before second half of the year, but...

    When is first draw

I agree with you... Also, it is a bit unprofessional from their side not to give public notice - "draw is postponed, we will come shortly with new information", and that is it... However - I also believe pool is too small, much smaller than expected, and there are still loads of FSW pending...

    Draw will be tomorrow

New Gazette is published, not a word about EE or draws... :(
  9. boske83

Well it looks like the draw is almost upon us, how are you feeling?

I expect it to be tomorrow at noon, or something... that is when new Canada Gazette will be published, probably containing draw instructions.

HOW DO WE CALCULATE THE POINTS IN EXPRESS ENTRY

There is no such thing as pass mark in CRS score. Pass mark for entering pool is 67/100, and then once inside pool candidates are ranked among themselves based on CRS score. CIC will organize draws and will invite e.g. top 2500 candidates. There is no way to know which exact CRS score will be...

The Harsh Reality About Express Entry - Let's Debate Here

I agree with you almost on everything you said, but one thing. there is no way that the limit will be 850+ in any draw - like january you have mentioned... a lot of people is not having their applications prepared yet, so they will not submit in January but in March, so I guess January draw will...

    Foreign Work Experience calculation

What is considered as full time study in my example: in 2001 I have started a 5-year integrated bachelor + master studies. in 2006 I have finished listening to the classes, but still had 3 exams left to complete master's degree. in 2014 I have completed my master studies - passed those 3...

Express Entry - Criteria to enter the pool

I have similar doubt regarding foreign work experience. I have started my 5-year bachelor + master integrated studies in 2001, and have listened to all 5 years in 2006. At that point, i had 3 exams left to get my master's degree. By university decision, I was able to get my bachelor's degree...
