How will you ever know where you stand in Express Entry pool???

yeah, it was noisy, i have listened to that part at least 10 times, and I am still not confident that I have heard it right - some annoying persons were talking all the time. :) They have mentioned that they need to wait to pool to fill a bit before draw, this is why it is not strict 24 draws...

How will you ever know where you stand in Express Entry pool???

hmm I am not sure about this figures - can you share the source? What I understood from the media teleconference, is that they expect low number of LMIA, and that they provide example of 2014 where only 1200 LMIA applicants applied, in addition to 80-100k PRs they want to provide this year...

How will you ever know where you stand in Express Entry pool???

Exactly - this is why i have decided to do it upfront. it is not so expensive, in case we get PR we will be able to compensate it within a month. :) Unlike our companion Joelmath, i am very confident that we will be able to receive ITA in first few draws after we submit EOI (we have 467 pts)...

How will you ever know where you stand in Express Entry pool???

Not sure how it works in your country, but here where I am from IELTS test must be scheduled at least 5-6 weeks upfront, and waiting for results is taking 2 weeks. Also, WES evaluation, which is fastest, using courier service takes 4 weeks. If you compare with 60days period to submit full...

How will you ever know where you stand in Express Entry pool???

First thing we need to see is size of the pool... if in earlier months pool size is smaller, it will be easier to pass with solid marks... i would be worried after April, when a lot of people collect all papers and join in... also, the Job Bank will be used more, which makes more people get LMIA...

How will you ever know where you stand in Express Entry pool???

@joelmath Although I agree that 160 members in spreadsheet is very few, i think that this random sample is actually very good and will reflect the structure of the pool pretty accurately... If you think about people who are interested to move - they are either CEC, or FSW... For CEC, most of...

Spouse / Common law partners eligibility for FSW applications

You are welcome, i am trying to help as much as I can. Again, i will answer both of your questions. 1) When you apply with spouse or common law partner in FSW program, there is no difference in visas you receive - you both receive PR. In addition, quota for planned PRs is substracted by 2...

Spouse / Common law partners eligibility for FSW applications

Hi, I will try to provide you with responses as per my understanding of your questions. 1) Eligibility for FSW program is important only for principal applicant - either you, or your spouse, depending who is carrier of the application. However, you both need to meet admissibility...

Proof of Funds | Not Required

For creation of EE profile, proof of funds are not required. However, it is required that you meet the criteria for one of the programs covered by EE system - FSW, FST, CEC or PNP. Once you receive ITA, you will need to follow the procedure for the one of the 4 programs where you fit best. All...

Can someone explain what the hell is this express entry system? In layman's word

It will not work as you have described. :) You can find all relevant information about EE system on http://www. cic. gc. ca/english/express-entry/index.asp . If you don't have time reading and understanding the provided information, you can always contact immigration consultant - I think this...

    Express Entry Explaination

I can agree with you on that one - NOC hotness is irrelevant for EE pool ranking. Also, "regular draws" will pick candidates based on their rank inside the pool, not NOC or program they are applying to (FSW, CEC, FST). However, "special draws" are being mentioned all the time, and it is already...

CEC Already Working with no LMIA - Scared and Confused

As far as I know, you can - a lot of FSW people will also apply under EE... so there is no reason that CEC people cannot apply under EE as well... Regarding points - if you check the spreadsheet mentioned in other thread, if you have 450+ pts you are in upper 20% of candidates... at least that...

CEC Already Working with no LMIA - Scared and Confused

Your anger is justified - if I am in your position, i would feel the same... but -it is their country, their rules - they can do whatever they want... You are wrong in one thing - you will not compete with low skilled people - by having canadian experience, and probably better language...

CEC Already Working with no LMIA - Scared and Confused

You need to calculate CRS points, and to see if you have enough points to be picked among other candidates... in case you are above threshold, you will receive ITA without LMIA... in case you are not - you will need LMIA to obtain invitation... Please note that FSW class candidates claim points...

if not getting job offer or PNP...

Haters will always hate - ignorance is the best tool, in lack of the baseball bat :) You are doing a good job helping people out on forum... what I cannot fully agree (although I am hoping your statistics and predictions are good), is that it will be easy to get ITA if you are 450+... still...
