A writ of mandamus is done via a lawyer, once your case has passed the average processing time. I think you would have been a candidate for this. Now that the time is up to 23 months, you'll probably have to wait for that time to pass before you investigate this option.. but you aren't far off...

You should have filed a write of mandamus after 12 months had passed - there was a while there before they increased the average processing time to 23 months.

Can you be more specific and clear in your communication. It is impossible to follow what you are saying. How long had everything been at "Completed" before you got your PPR? How long was the status at "Not Started" for Eligibility and Background Check before they changed to "In Progress", and...

Can you share your timeline? In the new tracker, were your eligibility and background check at "in progress", or did they go from "not started" right to "completed"?

The problem with these system updates, or whatever they are, is that now we have no way of knowing if our files are ACTUALLY being worked on. There was indication in the past, from members of this forum, that people would get frequent ghost updates on the new tracker right before getting their...

Yes mine is Warsaw. What I'm wondering is if people who submitted later on (ie this year) are getting the same updates. It could just be that they are working on November apps around now.

We got ones July 5, 14, 18, 21, 22, 26, 27 Not quite the same dates, although the last 4 are identical

I'd like a few more datapoints before we call these updates meaningless. If EVERYONE is getting updates on the same or similar dates then fine, but if it's just a handful of us, maybe they actually are working on our files.

We got ghost updates (new tracker "updated" date) July 18, 21, 22, and today the 26th. Anyone else seeing them this frequently? We are November 2021 online applicants. In the new tracker our Eligibility and Background Check both still show "Not Started", although in GCKEY it says they are...
