If you applied using the online application (instead of paper), then you will not have access to ECAS, so don't bother trying.

They should be able to check and tell you what the specific update is... hopefully it's not another medical request.

I'm a Nov 2021 applicant, and my eligibility and background check are both also at "Not Started" in the new tracker. That being said, in GCKEY it shows eligibility in progress (background check not started there either)... so I think what it shows in the new tracker is not particularly accurate...

I had one yesterday too.. last one before that was about a week earlier

When did you apply? What is your status in the PR tracker? I wrote them a few times. They only replied once back in early March, saying that they expected to receive our file soon. They haven't responded to any of my followup emails.

Congrats. We submitted online November 19th, and on GCKEY our background check is still at not started unfortunately. No ghost updates since Aug 8 - they are coming in a lot less frequently now.

When you log in to the PR tracker you'll see a ghost floating around your screen for 3-4 seconds.

I got ones July 29, August 4, and then today August 8.
