    NOVEMBER 2021 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

We ended up submitting the electronic one. I can't say for sure, but I *think* it was accepted. As per my previous reply, we got our pre-arrival and the request for a new police certificate on Jan 25th. We applied online for the police certificate and got it less than a week later, and then got...

    NOVEMBER 2021 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Yes we received our pre-arrival around jan 25th, and got a 2nd police report request on the same day. We provided the 2nd police report about a week later, and then on roughly feb 25th, we got a 2nd medical request. These guys are just incompetent nuisances - I don't know why they didn't just...

    NOVEMBER 2021 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

We're in the same boat, although we are just completing our 2nd medical today, so it wont show up in the tracker for a few days. Hoping we get PPR soon as well.

    October 2021 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Everything in the new tracker shows as "completed". We got our 2nd medical request a week or so ago, and will complete that tomorrow. we are hoping to receive PPR shortly after that. Nov 2021 applicants.

    October 2021 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Everyone has been getting those "ghost updates" since the system update in January. It likely means nothing.

    Ghost updates new Tracker

some people theorize that agents have the option to turn off the updating... which seems to have been the case for me, unless this was just a coincidence.

    Ghost updates new Tracker

As per IRCC, the last updated date now just means (and perhaps always did), when the data the tracker is showing you was last pulled from their system. In my case this is actually relevant - the "Last Updated" date in the tracker was stuck at Nov xx 2022 for a long time (this was the case for...

    NOVEMBER 2021 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

On the new tracker for us, it says our Eligibility started on Dec 20, 2022, and then was updated to Completed on Jan 24, 2023. There were probably a lot of holidays after it started as well, so it seems like ours took less than a month. We're also Nov 2021 applicants like you. I'm hoping that...

    NOVEMBER 2021 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Correct, yes. A month ago we received our pre-arrival and a request for a 2nd police certificate. Now we have received a request for our 2nd medical (current medical expires in a few days - I was hoping we would get PPR before that).

Today we got an update.. thought it was finally PPR, but it's another stupid medical request. Sigh.

    NOVEMBER 2021 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

You applied in Nov 2021 but your medicals are also from Nov 2021? Did you supply the medicals in advance? Our tracker shows *everything* as being "Completed", and we submitted our new police certificate about a month ago.. so also hope we don't have to wait too long. Again our medicals expire...

    NOVEMBER 2021 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Any update? Out of curiosity, when did your previous medicals expire? Ours expire March 2nd so I'm really hoping they send our PPR before that date and we don't have to go through that hassle again. Although I would imagine yours expire around the same time, so I'm wondering why they asked you...

    Ghost updates new Tracker

This seems like complete incompetence from IRCC. If the date means nothing at all from our perspective, then why show it at all? Why not show us a date that actually DOES mean something? Not that I expect any level of competency from a government agency, but this just seems downright foolish.

Same here... don't think they mean anything, but who knows.

    Spousal sponsorship ghost updates

There is nothing unusual about your case at all. For comparison, we submitted our application in November of *2021* and our Eligibility and Background Check was at Not Started until January of 2023. Different visa offices have different amounts of backlogs. Your case was literally just...

Safest way to get Future Spouse into Canada?

Yes take a look at the other threads. People who applied inland back in November 2022 have already received their eCOPR.

Safest way to get Future Spouse into Canada?

Inland is *much* faster these days - some people are completing the entire process in 3-4 months. In addition to that, if you get married in Canada then you'll have all your documents (ie marriage registration) already in English so that will also make the process easier once you apply...

March 2021 Outland spousal applications ( Accra VO)

Not having received AOR after almost 2 years is definitely a cause for concern - sounds like something has gone wrong. Have you tried reaching out to IRCC or your MP?
