    need urgent help

When they ask for financial proof, they ask for entire tuition, not only first year, this is what I am logically assuming that you put the entire tuition there. If you don't have the full tuition amount, then they might not approve your study permit due to lack of funds.

    need urgent help

Not sure about that, I am doing a 1 year course so I put the entire tuition. I put 10,000 for room and board and left the others blank. Funds available(this includes GIC) should be at least the same as what you have put for tuition + room and board.

We can now work unlimited hours even during school sessions!

from the article, it seems they are trying to tap into people who are almost qualified, especially in the health sector "For instance, thousands of international students are studying in health- and emergency service-related programs, including many who are nearly fully trained and ready to...

    need urgent help

Tuition should be full tuition amount, that is 31000 in your case. Room & board should be 11,000 for Quebec and 10,000 for other provinces and territories. This the amount that Canadian govt requires you to have for living expenses. Others you can leave it blank.

    Landing experience in Toronto

right now I think the only exemptions were those who got a study permit before 18th of march, PR holders and Citizens. Your institution might have made it online only for the summer, which means you can start your program outside of Canada. You will still be eligible for PGWP. No point of coming...

    Landing experience in Toronto

They generally don't check strictly when you first land, but why jeopardize the first few hours of being in Canada. I just filled the normal declaration, was asked some general questions of what stuff I was carrying, and didn't get checked by customs. You should know what's in your bag...

    Landing experience in Toronto

Hi, I am not the poster but I can answer your question. Since I was transiting via Munich, I carried some euros and Canadian dollars along with some left over rupees. I took around 50 euros, which to be honest is not necessary, I only did so because I had a long layover. I also carried 100 CAD...

    Landing experience in Toronto

Haha, you are right the airport wifi in Toronto is unusable and was the same when I landed in August, if people need to stay connected then Chatr offers sim cards or get a roaming pack from your home country. Phone rates are expensive in Canada, and my roaming pack gave me more data than my...

Humber College Human Resource Management Graduate Certificate

Humber is pretty good, I don't know about specific placements for HR though. I would suggest the same, wait for Sheridan and then make up your mind, if you don't get the sheridan offer letter, then just accept Humber's. Sheridan has always sent the offer letter late. Humber has more of a...

Global Business Management in Humber College

People say that it's easy, but to be honest I thank god that I didn't choose that option because it is very hard. The first year is very basic, then you get options to specialize in a few fields. I wouldn't go for it, because you might as well do the 1 year courses, because the content is the...

Humber College Human Resource Management Graduate Certificate

As @tapperb mentioned, look for programs with Co-op's. I was in your situation as well last fall. I applied to both Sheridan and Humber, and Sheridan's offer came in June or July, thereabouts. I am currently studying marketing management at Humber, however I tutor a lot Human Resource Graduate...

Credit transfer from SPP to Non SPP college

SDS has nothing to do with your situation. You just need to inform CIC that you are changing, that's it.

Credit transfer from SPP to Non SPP college

SPP was a program for faster visa processing which has now been replaced by SDS study stream. The SPP designation now has no value and will not affect you getting a credit transfer. Getting a credit transfer is totally dependent on the college that you are shifting to, so it would be up to the...

Confusing information regarding proof of financial support for student visa

For SDS proof of additional funds is not required. Looks like the major issue is that your letter of explanation is not enough given that you have previous commerce background. I would focus on that. For SDS, they only ask for the two financial proofs.
