HI For university professor, it needs LMIA right?? because the postdoc is the only occupation in the 4011 which is exempt right? can you please confirm?

no laid off but changing the job from postdoc to university professor ? (same employee, but different occupation) will it be possible to start the new job while waiting for the work permit?

is this only possible for people who are out of status? what about someone who need to change his work permit (still valid) for a new one and need to start very soon the new job, can he apply too under this so that he can start working on the new job while waiting for the decision ?
