my LMO has expired last year, work permit valid till Jan 13, 2011

the agency fingerprints by RCMP do not say if they are expired, but my fingerprints from Dubai, UAE says valid for 6 months and that is already expired.

Oh also... my current work permit expires Jan 13, 2011, should I ask my employer to extend my work permit, or should I change to a visitor status... what should I do... if Buffalo takes forever to process the application??? Please help

I live in Canada, Edmonton, Alberta... I just sent my paperwork to Buffalo, so lets hope I hear from them soon. I had sent my documents to Nova Scotia Oct. 2009 and received a letter Dec. 2009.

So I had done my fingerprints before sending documents to CIO, by the time I received the letter from CIO... my fingerprints had expired. Now I am trying to do it again, but the agency is telling me that I have to get my full set of fingerprints, so which one do I need to submit full set or...

OK.. so what if they do reject it... for whatever the reason is... what is my next step... do I have to reapply all over again... to the CIO in Nova Scotia...???? how long do I wait till I reapply...???

Thanks Ice Cube You are of such great help... its just that I studied / worked in a different country... then i moved here and some of those schools / offices have closed down or my ole bosses have quit the companies I worked for. So it is really hard to get originals again. I am millions...
