no i94. I assume i94 is not issued anymore. Its all electronic now. When I entered the US port officer said he is not going to stamp my passport since I have a valid previous entry stamp into USA.

unless its an urgent travel its ok to wait. Considering the waiting time such as; 1 year for citizenship, 3 years as PR, 1 year for PR processing. These are the minimum. So 2 days is nothing.
