What I don't understand is that in the initial application CIC give the applicants the choice either to provide CBSA record or authorize them to contact CBSA. Later some applicants are asked AGAIN in the RQ to provide CBSA record or authorize them to contact CBSA.eileenf said:

when you depart by land and you don't reenter usa before the expiry date mentioned on i94, the departure will not be recorded properly.
Now once you appear for your interview after the test, show them usa entry and canada entry and if the date matches, it means you entered canada the same day. Also take a printout of the above mentioned links to show them that the usa departures are not recorded properly if you depart by land.
coolifrs- I was thinking the same. Get the records from CBSA and submit it with citizenship application. However my concern was; they have mentioned not to contact CBSA. What do they really mean?
just order it for yourself and compare your entries to use with residence calculator, after that, just submit your application without cbsa reports and authorize cic to collect records from cbsa.dnyfyn said:

They cannot reject your application because you provided too much info.
Of course, it is your choice. You do not technically need to submit the CBSA report. My reasoning was because I had a LOT of travels - over 30.
