Thank you, everyone.....
I thought that , In case, If I contact CBSA and if CIC comes to know that I have contact CBSA to get the records, they might delay my application or something. ;D
The CIC doesn't use long processing times as a punishment for "bad behavior" or quick processing times as a reward for being "good."

It's your right to contact CBSA if you want. The CIC won't know and they won't care.

What I don't understand is that in the initial application CIC give the applicants the choice either to provide CBSA record or authorize them to contact CBSA. Later some applicants are asked AGAIN in the RQ to provide CBSA record or authorize them to contact CBSA.
Other applicants are asked on the day of test to provide the CBSA record.
So what's the point of giving the applicants this option? or recommending not to contact CBSA!!? (some applicants reported that the officers were pleased to see CBSA record brought by applicants on the test day)
The same story when they recommend to not include any additional docs beside those requested (again some applicants reported that their applications got sped with that) ???

Thank you. I have seen people in the forum discussing that their entries to USA were correct however, some of the exits were not correct. Did same happened with you?
HI, I also had incorrect exit days on I-94 print-out. but entries seemed correct
Hence, I too would love to hear from others how? if this has affected their application at all.

I hope this link says everything about incorrect exits.........

https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/1674/~/report-departure-if-entering-by-air-and-departing-by-land

https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/752/~/i-still-have-my-i-94

when you depart by land and you don't reenter usa before the expiry date mentioned on i94, the departure will not be recorded properly.

Now once you appear for your interview after the test, show them usa entry and canada entry and if the date matches, it means you entered canada the same day. Also take a printout of the above mentioned links to show them that the usa departures are not recorded properly if you depart by land.

coolifrs- I was thinking the same. Get the records from CBSA and submit it with citizenship application. However my concern was; they have mentioned not to contact CBSA. What do they really mean?

just order it for yourself and compare your entries to use with residence calculator, after that, just submit your application without cbsa reports and authorize cic to collect records from cbsa.
I suppose, that would be the best way

You guys are overthinking it

I submitted it with my application in the mail. I brought another copy to the interview. It was welcomed by the interviewer. My application was processed in 7 months.

They cannot reject your application because you provided too much info.

Of course, it is your choice. You do not technically need to submit the CBSA report. My reasoning was because I had a LOT of travels - over 30.
