I was under the impression that this shortened timeline was only for outland sponsorship of American citizens. Are you saying that this includes inland sponsorships as well?
Perhaps they will overlook it since they were both updated so recently. When I was filling out the updated forms, I also did not notice any physical changes and I'm guessing that the changes to the General Application (IMM 0008) was just to update the list of countries in the drop down lists.
We provided form IMM 5710, an explanation letter for some of the fields that required additional detail (for example, it asks for 10 year employment history, but the form only allows 3 entries), and a copy of the receipt showing the fees were paid.
