    July AOR 2017

Have any people on this thread received PCC requests for a country they stayed in less than 30 days? I realise that 5 months or longer generally requires a PCC but was wondering if there have been exceptions. Thanks.

    WES

Is anyone able to reach them on the phone ? Even 35 mins of waiting doesn't help. Little response from their online help system either. I wonder if its worth sending a parallel copy to iQAS given the issues at WES.

    FBI PCC

They won't issue ref numbers until they open the package. In your case, that should be 10-12 weeks from now. When you CC gets charged, give them a call or send an email. They are prompt in replying to those.

PCC checks for <3 months stay?

I haven't submitted EE yet. Just trying to get going on as many of the time consuming later steps early, if possible.

PCC checks for <3 months stay?

I understand that they can but have they and how frequently ? I don't want to go on a wild goose chase and get PCCs for every country I ever visited multiple times. I am just asking for empirical evidence.

PCC checks for <3 months stay?

    1. Have people received PCC requests even if they've stayed in some countries in aggregate for <2 months? I noticed some have got it for 5m and thereabouts but what about for lesser periods like 1 or 2 months? 2. Which countries typically trigger PCCs even if the stay is less than 6 months?

    PCC-Mexico

Did people getting Mexico PCC requests all spend 6m+ in Mexico? Back in time, I used to go in and out of that country but it never amounted to more than 30 days in aggregate. I wonder if that would trigger a Mexican PCC.

    FBI PCC

I mailed two sets - each with their own credit card forms. I however put both sets in one envelope. Not sure if that would suffice in creating the redundancy I was seeking.

Investor immigration to Quebec (applied 2016) waiting for interview

I was exploring this option but seeing these long wait times, its a non starter. It should be considerably faster with the regular route.

Most time consuming or problematic steps?

Thank you @dr feras From my current employer I can claim 13 out of 15 max points in FSW (4 - 5 years). Adding that previous employer would add 2 more points to my FSW score, but it won't affect eligibility. So probably not worth the extra effort/possible delay to get that older employment...

Most time consuming or problematic steps?

Thanks. 1. That raises a tricky question @DelPiero07. FSW gives you points for 6 years of work ex, while CRS only for 3 years. Does that mean, I should err on the side of caution and get letters for 6 years of experience so that I can claim max points under FSW? 2. Is the lottery CRS score...

Most time consuming or problematic steps?

Thank you. 1. Regarding Employment history, I just realized that I can meet the max points from my current employment itself, so getting the desired letter should not be an issue (as I wouldn't need to go back to my previous employers - i can put those in personal history rather than work...

    Need Help: Employment History

This is confusing. If FWSP gives you points for 6 years but CRS only gives you points for max 3 years, when applying EE would one need reference letters corresponding to 6 years or 3 years, if one intends to claim the max points? Thanks

Most time consuming or problematic steps?

Newbie here who just applied to WES for credentials evaluation. From reading the forums, i find the most time consuming/problematic steps to be: 1. ECA (1-2 months) 2. PCC (for US PCC, 2-4 months) 3. Employment reference letters in the desired format. Could those ahead in the process shed...

EE ITA received - Help requested

Questions from a newbie who has not yet applied EE but wants to gather the docs for app ahead of time: 1. How far back does the application require reference letters? Only for the work ex you are claiming points for or your entire work history? The points need only 3+ years for max score so...
