So it seems most persons still waiting from 2018/2019... requires interview? Trinidad and Tobago’s borders has been closed since March 2020.... so I can see why it’s delayed that long (ofcourse they should have workarounds) but are there applicants who don’t need interviews and still waiting...

It’s why I’m thankful she assisted! Clearly some MPs just don’t care to assist. Can’t say for certain. Mine was great and I must acknowledge that. I won’t get her involved unless IRCC doesn’t contact me after my 1 yr. but they certainly respond to MPs.

What do you mean it makes no sense? Lol not everybody has the same MP. Before you make assumptions maybe you need to get facts. A tracking number was paid for and it was not updated after a month and more... the MP did get involved by calling Canada Post and escalating investigations until they...

You all should give it a try! My package was never delivered by Canada post and my MP got involved until it was delivered and got confirmation from IRCC that it was delivered. I think it all depends on who your MP is.

My husband is in Trinidad and Tobago, i think T&T office is open not 100% sure. Unfortunately it seems like we have to sit back and wait for the next step/s.

I honestly feel like it’s only two of us on this thread that applied in 2020. Everyone else seems to be from 2019 and stuck because they need interviews done.

I received sponsorship approval last Friday stating same so I think we might be in the same batch. It probably hasn’t even arrived at Mexico yet.
