From personal experience, I would say certified translation of support letters are a must. ( I didn't get them notarized only translated) CIC documents required state clearly that all documents that are not in English or French must be translated into English or French.

Hi all, just wanted to mention that yesterday I got an email from CIC asking for my passport for visa stamping. My ecase status was updated on Sept 18th to "in process " and I submitted my application on May 1st. So processing time was a lil over 5 months VO Lima.http://:) :)
