well i kinda hate the spreadsheet, when i created it, it was without colours , now it's looking like a peacock. i don't think "colours" are needed to see progress, but that's just my opinion ...

color code tells you the status of a person without looking at the dates..so i guess its easier.

I see the usefulness of the colour coding. It's not pretty to look at, but it lets you figure out where you are in the timeline compared to the other applicants. Function over form.

Hi all, found this site at last! I just entered my application details into the spread sheet, not sure about the colours though ( (what does each colour mean?) My ecase was updated on Sept 18th to "in process " which is good news, now just waiting on the application approval as we probably have so many more months to go... ;) ;)

Hi! When did you submit your application? Really, there's no specific time when your status will change to in process or decision made.. It really depends on the officer handling your application and how complete and satisfying your documents and proofs are.. I assume your VO is Manila.. Better you follow the manila thread as it will give you better insight about the timeline.. Wishing you all the best! :)

Hello
Ilij, My application was received on May 16, 2014 then it was forwarded
to Manila I think on Last week of July after my husband get approval as
my sponsor on JuLy 22

it is always a better option to type it on a computer, Agojo1976.

Hello everyone.

Haven't posted in a bit. I just got a "Decision made" update on the website for the second part of the application.. ??? It's been a bit short of 5 months for us since we applied.

Could this be a good sign? What should I expect next? Anyone can give me tips as far as what might happen and how I can prepare myself (physically and mentally)? ::)

Any help would be great

I received my COPR in the mail 4-5 days after ecas was changed to DM. I landed two days later at a land crossing at it seriously took less than 10 minutes. I have seen it is different depending on the VO but that is my experience. Congrats

Ottawa is probably the fastest VO for processing routine cases currently.

Hi all, just wanted to mention that yesterday I got an email from CIC asking for my passport for visa stamping. My ecase status was updated on Sept 18th to "in process " and I submitted my application on May 1st. So processing time was a lil over 5 months VO Lima.[flash=200,200]http://:) :)[/flash]

We also just received the request for passport (no reason) but assume it is a done deal. Particulars as follows:

Beijing office

App rec'd - May 28
AOR - Aug 11
Sponsor DM - Aug 11
AOR2 - Sep 26
Applicant In Process - Sep 29
Request Passport - Oct 14

As a reminder, I, the sponsor, have been married and living with my wife in China for almost 7 years
