Did you make an appointment for urgent pickup?

Passport Canada website now says you dont need an appointment for urgent pickup, just walkin with proof of travel. I confirmed it with their call center. They said this new guidance changed in the last 2 days.

Provide travel tickets along with emoloyment letter. Only then you may get the certificate quicker!

Have you first completed surrendering your passport before even thinking about OCI? If Surrender is already done, it should be the doable for OCI.

That means they have accepted your signed oath form. Your certificate is probably printed, but there no correlation that it was mailed. There is no proper data to predict when the certificates are mailed after closed date. I guess they do it by batches but again, no correlation.

Your wife may get a seperate invitation later. If ceremony has not started, that indicates her date is not set yet. Not sure if it helps any with trying now.

You can do it now or even if you dont do it now, clerk will check and confirm your mailing address during registration process of the ceremony. So, dont worry....and yes, that new address need not be the same address as in your current profile. Certificates can be mailed anywhere in Canada...

Dont worry about it. You should be good as long as you have the correct Zoom id and password. They will assign you one during registration process.

It doesn't matter when you take it to adjust your travel plans. The gap between test and ceremony is very unpredictable. Take it as soon as 10th so you have some room before you leave.

You will get it 1 week before usually. If not, you will definitely get it 2-3 days before ceremony. If not, email them (to the address you received test invitation from) explaining your situation.

Thank you. Not all urgent requests are processed. Express requests can be processed with Travel tickets, but not urgent unless they see the need to travel is related to urgent reasons. Besides that, I'm just checking if there would be repercussions for doing in that way.
