Yeah it just seems strange that they would claim something before even trying to process the draft. I can understand if they did that and are saying this, but that isn't the case. Any clue on how the issues you have come across in the past have been resolved ? Just so that I have some direction...

Thanks for your response bellaluna, the draft is from a Canadian bank, it isn't from an international bank. They clearly stated that the funds are available and no attempts to cash the draft was made. Hence the confusion. The bank even stated that they don't issue bank drafts that expire.
