Do NOT want in laws to come

You need to meet income requirement to sponsor parents/grandparents. Does your husband alone make enough to qualify? If not, he will need your income and be the co-sponsor. So to try not qualify, I guess you can stop working. :P Or make more babies so the family size is too big to qualify...

    SPONSORSHIP COMMON LAW RELATIONSHIP

This story sounds familiar... I thought we had replied to similar story before. But it's never been clarified how/why a roommate/landlord be involved in a spousal sponsorship.

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2018

Yes. You are not eligible to apply this year. But I think you will be in 2019. (unless your family size increase and you can't meet income benchmark) Your siblings aren't dependent once they reach 22. So 21 is the age for dependent that's not common-law or married.

    Size of Family and Income

If you want to submit interest to sponsor your parents for 2018, make sure that you have NOA from 2015, 2016 and 2017 that shows you have enough LICO for 6 people (if you want to sponsor for both sides of the parents) for those years. You can use combined income of yourself and your spouse as...

    Inland vs outland

He will need his medical and police clearance regardless if you choose to apply outland or inland. I am not familiar with procedure of getting police clearance from Argentina. But he can sure get medical done in Canada. (either for inland or outland application)

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2018

I think you guys missed this. Getting divorced is more complication that getting through medical for immigration. Estate planning, right for medical care...etc. I think we should leave sing_tao alone... He got more than enough to think here.

    Is it too late?

So it may be too late to "withdraw the application". But OP can still do something to stop the PR landing.

    Is it too late?

OP may not be looking into refund. He/she may be more concern on the 3 years obligation for the spouse after PR.

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2018

From the initial post, it wasn't clear that the parents want to be seperated. Since HK is visa exempt , the dad could travel to canada and stay for 6 months. Mom could still travel back to HK and keep her PR obligation. Now we know the story behind. Please leave this option out of the question...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2018

This is a tricky one. Even if your entry is picked by the lottery, I don't think they can process the applicant so fast. It's likely that it's still some time before they will actually request the medical. And if her dad is sick, as long as his condition doesn't require excess medical (i.e...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2018

OMG... You are NOT suggesting sing_tao to tell his/her parents to be seperated or even get a divorce just for immigration!! That's morally wrong.
