If you applied online, ECAS usually doesnt work. But you can track your application’s status on GCKEY account too. If you dont get update for long time in GCKEY account then call IRCC to get updates.

Probably your work permit will be approved more than processing time as i had same experience. If you renew before expiration, it approves in couple weeks. Hopefully you wont get same experience. Good luck.

I would sign and send it by webform. Sometimes very small mistakes affect the application processing time in the bad way.

Take your pr card with you and go to service Canada and ask them to get new sin number.

You can apply work permit!

Applicants are only allowed to reschedule four times (not including the initial appointment) without penalty. If the fourth rescheduling attempt is canceled, an applicant will only be allowed to reschedule a new date after a waiting period of 90 days.

There is no speed up option :)) Pr process takes up to 24 months and sometimes more than 24 months. But i recommend you to apply work permit before current one is expired.
