My file was sent March 23rd, 2009 Received at CIC-M March 24th, 2009 I don't know exact date of approval Was sent to Cairo on April 8th, 2009 I got this information using MY client id [I am a PR in Canada] the website still does not update with the receipt number or client id however. WOOO...

Just a word of caution to those calling in.. I did today try what Boncuk did. I sent my application in on March 23, 2009, and it was received March 24, 2009. The very FIRST question they will ask you is when it was sent in..if it is less than 32 days [as stated on the website] they will not go...

I tried calling this afternoon to check the status of my application, and they did nothing. They said they are working on applications up to March 9th, and that as soon as they have received/processed my application the system will update and then I will know. I went on and said that I *KNOW*...

I have heard in most instances they do NOT return items - so if you want to include such things, you should copy them, and submit copies of them. [This is what I did...] good luck :-)
