    Please help for medical examination

First of all the required medical form you need to complete is part of the application [part 3]. Read the Guides, they will help you well. As for your medical, it should be done last. It's good for 3 months, and has to reach the CPC-M before it expires. There is only one form you need to...

    Checking your status...

I would wait at least two weeks before expecting to see anything post online via your receipt number. The website does post the processing time for inland processing at about 35 days, and they update the site weekly, but you might be lucky and see that it has been completed within a few weeks...

    question!

Yah that is strange, maybe coz they are right in the middle of the transition that yours went to Damascus, and now others are going to Beirut...I guess they had to establish a certain date for cut off, so some files went one place, while others went to the new one. How long did it take you to...

    question!

Strange tho Marlena that they didn't pass that news around in News Brief to your Customs office. There is a huge ADVERTISEMENT on the CIC Website when you first go to cic.gc.ca, it shows that Consular Services have been expanded in Lebanon. You can't miss it, it's on the top of the page...

    Dual Intent

Marlena, re-read my post please. I didn't say nor imply that you applied inland - I said that I realized that was not you........specifically I said: "I am not saying that is you - as you did not misrepresent your spouse, and then he came and stayed to try and do an inland application - but...

    Dual Intent

Marlena, the confusion is the cruxt and purpose of my post.....I realize there is grey area here, and there is a lot open to interpretation by the I/O reviewing the case...but this term 'dual intent' and the premise behind it is quite concerning - and why lawyers exist :-). How do they...

    Dual Intent

As Leon said there are pros and cons on both sides....interesting to note.. a lawyer in Egypt said had I been Canadian, I could have made an appointment with the conseil in Cairo at the Embassy, to make an argument to get a visitor's visa for my husband to come back with me, and apply inland for...

my wife wll sponsor me..please help...

Dentist, Go over the sponsor checklist carefully, it tells you what items should be original and which can be copies. I realize you are an international student in USA - but will you need to apply through your country's home office - or will they allow you to apply through USA even though you...

    Dual Intent

Elfut, I'm American and frequented Canada in that same capacity - I was honest and upfront and was never denied entry. I would prefer to air on the side of caution with FULL disclosure, and let the chips fall where they may. It has been my experience that an I/O is far more amenable and less...

    Dual Intent

James - there are many who have done that - said that they are visiting a friend, gotten married and then left. BUT that's a lie...and if ever questioned on it again, could come back to haunt you and even possibly cause a refusal of your case. In the application itself it will ask where you have...

    April 2009 Manila Outlanders

Re: Any April Outlanders waiting on CPC-Mississauga? Receipt number will take forever... when searching for the step one, look under the Sponsor's id, not your husband's - as his part [step 2] is not yet in process. And yes your citizenship # (or Permanent Residence id#) is a client id number...

    April 2009 Manila Outlanders

Re: Any April Outlanders waiting on CPC-Mississauga? I put my application in on the Last week of March 2009, and I got my response in the early second week of April, 2009. Again, if you have a client id from your existing immigration file [landed immigrant or citizenship] you should be able to...

Canbrit, you need to obtain something called a 'Letter of Attestation from your place of employment.
