Did anyone posted about the processing times on CIC site recently?
We are now down to 13months from the 17months processing time! AMAZING! I know na madaming natatapos in less than a year pero it's a big help na even ang CIC ni-reduced na ang maximum processing time and it's even country...
Your wife is a canadian. It's a different story.
I guess CIC can easily get access in the sponsor's record of coming and leaving Canada if they want to. Why would they want to? That I'm not sure.
What if after Sponsor Approval stage, the PR sponsor wants to leave Canada, NOT for good but for like 2-3months? Is it allowed?
Has anybody here tried leaving Canada while sponsorship is on process? If yes, how long have you been away?
I am not from the US but I had a joint bank account with my mother and that's what I used for my application. The money in the account was mine but I just need my mother for bank transactions on my behalf.
I just showed them proof of remittance (to show that I am really sending those money...
Wait until you get your UCI number from CIC. Once you have that, you can submit a case specific inquiry and inform them about the mistake that you committed. Once you have done that, wait for their instruction on what you should do (sometimes they don't ask you to resubmit anything). That's it...
Hindi din makakuha husband ko ng PCC from Sudan sa Pilipinas. Wala din kaming makatulong na nasa Sudan.
Ang ginawa ko, gumawa kami ng letter explaining the situation at ang mga ginawa namin and then inattach namin docu from Sudan consulate in Manila. May letter na binigay sa amin ang Sudan...
MERON BA DITONG UMUWI NG PINAS WHILE ONGOING ANG APPLICATION? If yes, on what stage kayo umuwi?
Is that allowed?
I'm thinking na umuwi muna ng Pinas maybe 7months after namin maipasa ang application nya and dun na lang maghintay with him (my husband).
Aquakitty and canadianwoman are both correct. Inform them about the mistake that you did and wait for the reply or instructions from them. It is your responsibility to inform them whatever relevant changes or mistakes that you discover along the process. If they don't care, at least you did what...
I printed my draft of the IMM 1344 2nd week of March2016 BUT I still got the old form which is the 08-2014 format! How can this happen? When did they change it? What if I will submit the old form?
This means that you have a SIMPLE lifestyle that can be easily understood if your wife is willing to do it - work, sleep, eat, and FEW extra details. She can even say that majority of your routine revolves around work and these are the other stuff that you do outside work.
My husband doesn't...
Clear Beauty, no offense at all but if I am in the position of the VO, I would have the same decision as well. Here's my few cents about your case. I hope it will help you "assess" the appeal that you're planning.
1. It is necessary that ALL the documents must be translated in English -...
Is this the correct fees that I have to pay - $1040? I'm sponsoring my spouse.
Sponsorship application (per application)-$75.00
Principal applicant-$475.00
Right of Permanent Residence Fee-$490.00
Tama ba na $1040 ang total na babayaran to sponsor a spouse only?
Sponsorship application (per application)-$75.00
Principal applicant-$475.00
Right of Permanent Residence Fee-$490.00
Your reply made me emotional and teary eyed! Lol!
I was thinking of asking my husband who is in the Philippines (with pending PR application) to apply for visit visa for my birthday too. I'm hesitant because he's unemployed and I can't think of a "proof" (for CIC) that he will really go back...
I hope you won't mind but what is the reason that you gave to CIC as to why she will come to Canada?
Congratulations in advance! Your situation is "unusual" and yet she got it!
