I found in other post I should put 5 years even if it took 7.... that is why I am confused! If I put 5 then when I write the years (from 2000 to 2007) the years don't match because 2007-2000 = 7

I can stay in Canada until december 2014 the problem is I can't work until my PR is done. Could I reduce the validity of my closed work permit? If my company closes I do not have anything to lose.
