The July 2013 Outland Applicant Chill Spot.

12 months! :o I have been seeing it take 8 or 9 on here... I hope it doesn't take that long. :'( I am praying that these strikes won't effect us too much since they don't seem to be having a big impact according to the forums. People still seem to be moving forward... Maybe they will just...

Well ism45 it unfortunately doesn't get much easier to deal with, but you will eventually adjust to being apart. It's not easy. My husband and I have been long distance since the start of our relationship, as we met through a religious dating site. We see each other roughly every month and half...

I don't know why, but it seemed so easy for our pages to start adding up like a wild fire for immigration. My husband and I have a phone messaging app we use, and he took ALL the text off it since October and it totaled 800 PAGES! We ended up using a day or two a month just to show "quality" so...

That's awesome to hear! Toronto is a pretty good area. You beat us to getting in our application then! There is so much to it and it's quite time consuming, but such a relief to have it in! I am headed back up to Toronto to visit my husband in about a month here, it will certainly be a long next...

It wasn't the additional dependents form or the representative one was it? We didn't include those because it was not applicable, and wrote N/A on the checklist.

    Abnormal X-Ray?!

OP UPDATE: So I ended up getting 3 more x-rays done with my American doctor to make sure I am healthy and without TB, and he told me my lungs looks great and saw nothing wrong! Everything in my medical came back good though, except for one abnormality they apparently found. My American doctor...

    Abnormal X-Ray?!

It was actually the doctors office which sent me a copy of a form which was sent to the CIC. Not entirely sure I was suppose to receive the document, but I am glad I did because otherwise I might have not known for a while. It's basically a screen capture of a web page they were sending to CIC...

    Abnormal X-Ray?!

That's interesting that it's happening frequently, hopefully that means that I should be able to get past it pretty quick. I specifically went to Canada to get it done because I thought it would quicken things, not potentially now slow them down. It cost us $250 for the appointment, and recently...

    Abnormal X-Ray?!

It's very difficult to be in this situation because I have no idea what they found. I am not sure if they will tell me either because I got a screen shot of the document that they are sending to immigration, not even sure if I am suppose to see it. It's concerning to me though because I work...

    Abnormal X-Ray?!

Hello everyone, I am really concerned right now! I just got an email from the medical doctor tonight at 9pm stating that abnormal findings were present in my medical exam x-ray. I just had it done about a week and a half ago in Canada while visiting my husband. I am ticked because it's now too...

What do you wish you would have known?

I accidentally posted the same topic twice (double clicked), so I am asking a question I have been meaning to ask. What do you wish you would have known about applying, immigration, paperwork, processing or sponsorship that you wished you would have known before you applied? Any advice you wish...

    Passport Question

This is a quote from the Country Specific Instructions for those immigrating from the United States of America. I have been reading on these forums today and recently that some individuals on the forums are submitting to immigration their whole passport... I am just wondering if this means...

    Proof of Medical Exam

How much did you all end up paying for this medical exam? I called up the only one in my state and he wanted to charge $420 for all of it! I have medical insurance in the USA that covers regular physicals and most things, anyone know if there is any way to get insurance to cover a medical exam...
