Hello everyone,
I am really concerned right now! I just got an email from the medical doctor tonight at 9pm stating that abnormal findings were present in my medical exam x-ray. I just had it done about a week and a half ago in Canada while visiting my husband. I am ticked because it's now too late to call for the weekend and will have to sit with this until I can call on Monday and figure this out...
What could this be?! Anyone have this happen to them? What does this mean moving forward?
I am a nursing assistant, so I was just tested for TB in January and it was negative, but I am going to have my work retest me. What are other things they look for in the x-ray?
I tried to post a picture of the email, but it won't let me post a link.
Grading & Examiner Declaration
With 2 options, A or B (A meaning nothing abnormal and no significant history found)
Grade B was selected which said by it
"Significant history or abnormal findings present."
Then it has General Supporting Comments
and written in the blank was: abnormal x ray
Then it had a code under it which said: 3986
