It does take longer than applying from within Canada. On CIC website it says that there processing time is 15 months.

No idea. There should be some threads for that as well. Or just create a new thread and someone will reply.

6 to 8 months. I did my medical in January and I just got passport request. You can check out the excel spreadsheet in my signature for better idea about processing time.

Looking at the trend. It seems like they usually send PPR's on Thursday's. If we didn't get it this Thursday maybe we will get it next Thursday. Lets hope for the best.

I don't think it will be the same agent. Because at that time our file was at Nova Scotia Office and now it is at Ottawa office. Chances are its with someone else now.

On there website it says that it takes about 21 Calendar Days for new permanent residents to receive PR card after landing.

I got DM yesterday. So I think they will be sending PPR's to all of us together. Lets hope to get it in this week. But keep everyone updated if anyone gets it.

I don't think its legal to courier PR card. But you can get a travelling document from Singapore to come back and get your PR card.

I got reply from Ottawa in 10 days. Just send another email again. And if they reply to your first email they will ignore the second one if it's about same subject matter. You should get a reply by end of this week or early next week. They replied me that " your application has been finalized...

A lot of people who got IP between May 16-31 are still IP. I am not sure whats going on with those application. Maybe they forgot to work on it but it's really weird that people who got IP in june are getting DM but you are still in IP. Pray for the best bro. I hope you get DM soon or straight PPR.

Don't worry about it. Everyone do not receive confirmation about RPRF receipt.

looks like its taking 20 days for DM after IP. I got IP on July 3. Hopefully I will get DM next week :) :)
