    They asked how much money I was bringing into Canada. I answered, and they didn't ask for any proof. But just in case, I had a bank statement from Standard Chartered bank. I think a bank statement from an international bank should be fine. Good luck.

    If the ten months are already completed, I think you should write to them immediately. Hopefully they won't ask for any additional documents, but they can. Good luck.

    Thanks for the reply qorax, but my issue is that I'll be leaving the UAE (my current country of residence) for good and I'll be cancelling my residence visa and credit cards. So I guess the next question is, can I keep my UAE credit cards without having a valid UAE residence visa? Regards.
