    Timeline after Ghost Email

I had my ECAS updated to DM a day or two after the ghost email. The next day i got my PPR.

AOR in September Let's Connect here

They have provided you with an email address inside the PPR email to contact them through. I think it would probably be a good idea to ask them this question directly to avoid delays or issues in the processing.

AOR in September Let's Connect here

Yes, I'm inland, CEC, single and with no family to sponsor. I've also only had one job and worked there continuously in Canada. I also studied from Canada and have been in Canada for 90% of my life after the age of 18. I think all those factors made my application simpler to process.

AOR in September Let's Connect here

My Company agreed to apply for an LMIA for me and we applied for an LMIA work permit at the same time (before my PGWP expired). I am currently on implied status. The LMIA and work permit are still being processed. While they were being processed I managed to complete two years on implied status...

AOR in September Let's Connect here

I just got my PPR! It has been a very hectic ride over the whole year. I was one of the people who applied last year under the old system and had their applications returned in February. Just feeling really grateful that my application got processed this fast. Was not expecting it to go...

Help for Extending the Work Permit

There are over 5.5 months till the start of May 2016. All you need is to be able to apply for PR before then. Once you have your first AOR you can start the application process for a Bridging open work permit in the worst case scenario.

    Chances after Passport

Let's just say this would be extremely unlikely. The only scenario I can think of is if they find out some bizarre new information about you that would jeopardize your case or you commit some crime that they find out about. At the point where they ask for your passport they've essentially...

Help for Extending the Work Permit

480 is a very high score - you have nothing to be stressing about. Good luck!

AOR in September Let's Connect here

Hey, i'm in the same situation as you. Nothing on the MyCIC page. All I know at this point is that they have made a decision - I don't know what that decision is though. I guess the next step is to wait for the email asking for my passport or telling me a reason for rejecting my application. I...

AOR in September Let's Connect here

I just noticed that my ECAS got updated to Decision Made. I got a ghost email two days ago and nothing had changed anywhere initially. This DM could have happened yesterday but in my excitement to check the ECAS lines I didn't realize that "Decision Made' would show up in the application status...

Is it a good idea to get bridge visa using 1st AOR?

I'm assuming you mean a bridging open work permit (BOWP). I'm not sure what a bridging visa is. If this is the case, don't see why not. You would need to already be on some sort of work permit to get implied status though. Otherwise you will have to wait until they make a final decision on your...

Is it a good idea to get bridge visa using 1st AOR?

I would say absolutely 100% apply for the bridging work permit if you have no other option available to you. Here's what will happen: you will apply for the bridging work permit with the first AOR you received, just a few days before your 15 December deadline. That will put you on implied status...

AOR in September Let's Connect here

Thanks. We have very similar timelines so I'm guessing I will be in the same situation as you more likely than not. I suppose I should calm my excitement.

    Extension of an open PGWP

I'm quite sure that someone who has a positive LMIA is not eligible for a bridging open work permit. It's either in the main body of the requirements website for that or somewhere in the bottom. The best bet would be to apply for the LMIA based work permit before your PGWP expires and then...

AOR in September Let's Connect here

I'm wondering, have there been any cases of people with their background checks already in progress and then they receive a ghost email a few weeks later but nothing follows? I'm hoping the status update email I got today leads to something good like a DM or PPR in the next few days. I feel like...

AOR in September Let's Connect here

I just got an email stating my profile has been updated a few minutes ago but I don't see any change. I'm hoping I get a decision made update by tomorrow (and a positive one at that)!

AOR in OCTOBER - let's get together

It should be back up soon hopefully. Can you share the timeline for your application?

AOR in September Let's Connect here

I'm not sure if this is actually the case but from what I've noticed, a lot of the people with the quickest responses were those who had had their earlier applications rejected and were reapplying in September and August.
